Holt maybe
« on: May 18, 2012, 10:58:33 PM »
Might give Holt or somewhere close a shot this weekend  to try out my two new H2O Mettles i bought the other day. I had an Academy Sports gift card so it was like "buy one get one". Also got a hand full of wildeye shads for the a-rigs.

I'm thinking about going Sat afternoon or Sun as well. I don't have the privelage to use any new tackle like ole BB ;D but I think I've got enough to make it work.

Well, Bama and I wound up goin below the Oliver Pool for an afternoon trip. About an hour after we put in it started raining and lasted for 30 mins or so...that was nice, and a totally unexpected surprise! The shower dropped the temps a little which made the hot more pleasant for the rest of the afternoon.  ;D

Bama wound up catching more than myself, and i only caught one. I think it was 3-4 chunks and a few more smaller ones for the evening.

The H2O reels casted and worked really well imo to be a "low end" reel.

Those H20's feel pretty good in the store.    Glad you got out.
