Nice little rock pile I found in a lake I've been fishing for years.

Is that downscan or sidescan?

that one was Down Scan.

Next time I go out I'll try and get some better pictures and some SI one.  I hopefully can save them to a MMC card and download them for better pics.

G get a big sd card.  Set your unit to record on (all channels) then you can watch it on the puter with Lows free sonar viewer.  It will show you down, side and 2d.

NO.  I use a 16 so I can record more than one day.  I have a 4 and it doesn't do all day long sometimes.

A tip.  If you really want to look at an area, do short recordings.  That way you can play it on the sonar viewer and then on the simulator and mark wpts of places you have missed.

Is it just a regular Sd card?  Can get a 16 for about $12.00, or a 32 for about $25
I would check to see if its just a standard card before you buy one from lowrance because they will jack the price up!!

I looked at the specs and I thought it said SD or MMC.
You might want to check because SD is mucho cheaper.

G I am using SD cards from Wal Mart.  I have 4 of them.  The 16G was a bit pricey but you can get by with a bit smaller one.  My camera card won't fit in my hds.

SDXC, SDHC, and SD cards are physically the same size.     They just have different file systems and transfer rates.

I have read SDHC works fine in the unit.   You just need to make sure your card reader on your computer supports SDHC, which most newer ones do.

Maybe you had it backwards or upside down?   :D

I figured it out.  It goes up at about a 45 deg angle.  Odd but it works!
