Finally Retired
« on: October 17, 2014, 03:12:43 AM »
The company I worked for got bought out and things started to change so I checked out. Today is the first official day of my retirement and the wife has ďvolunteeredĒ me to help with sitting for her youngest grandchild. Iím going to work a nap into this day yet! ::)

Congrats on the retirement ! Every day will be a Saturday. Won't be long and you'll be so busy you'll not have time to have a job. Ha ha. We have an 8 yr old grandson living with us so retirement for me is not what I thought it was gonna be. At least we now have someone in the family who can catch some fish.
Bass don't eat what they don't see.

GETFISHED !!!

Yeah Steve I have to admit I have had something to do every day. One of the biggest pains has been dealing with Medicare and Obamacare! I was dealing with Medicare while I was still working and I had to leave early one day and go in late another day to meet their hours of work. I learned that this Government office is only open from 9 AM to 3 PM; and they get an hour for lunch! :o
I had to get insurance for the wife and supplemental insurance for me so we met with my insurance agent for over two hours while we learned about that stuff.
The one great benefit I have seen is that I am sleeping better. That job was stressful to say the least!
Havenít had any time to fish yet. With winter coming on I donít know if I will get out again this year; but am making plans for a good start next year. ;D

Congrats Scott.  I got bought out a long time ago and haven't regretted 1 minute of not being there.
