We caught maybe two dozen bass combined and say a dozen big fat bream, we fished for both, mostly bass fished though. I finally threw the Fred Arbagast Buzz Plug but did not catch any on it(nor the buzzbait i took off to tie it on). Did have one blow up on the buuuzz plug but never even felt it! It's very heavy and plops heavily on the touch down. I do like the way it runs and the versatility that it has for a topwater bait though.

The biggest was right at 3lbs, with one or two more getting close to that, most came on plastics and two on a  bandit crank. The bream he caught came on small cranks and the ones i caught came on the Stingers.

It was really hot when we first got there but the overcast skies a little later dropped the intensity down a little. Left for home when it started to thunderboom/lightning. I really enjoyed myself! That was th first time i had gone since early in the year.

man yeah!

Glad you got out and had a good trip.  I've been planning then cancelling because of storms and flooding for the last couple of weeks.  It looks like it may be another week before the front moves out and the storms stop.

Good job Buzz. I haven't fished much at all this season but that is going to change soon when school starts. I'll be glad when the temps moderate.
Bass don't eat what they don't see.

Went to Peco Joe's pond. I'd say it's roughly 1/3 the size of your neighborhood lake JJ.
