We just got back from a “vacation” in lakeless Arizona. Wife’s family had a big get together in Phoenix and Tombstone and the trippin back and forth wore me the heck out!
Left August 3rd., got back August 12th. It took 10 hours, lay over in Bankrupt City, to get to Phoenix and 12 hours, layover in Bankrupt City and storms, to get back.
I have two reels laying on the desk that Ian rebuilt for me and I am going to get them tried out in the next few days; just as soon as I rest up! ::)

Glad you had a nice vacation with the wife's family. Those always pay dividends. I prefer to drive when I can to enjoy what I encounter along the way but flying can often be the way to go.  I hope you catch some fish  and post up to let us know how that goes.

You could have gone to Lake Havasu. Good luck the next couple of days.
