Finally getting out...
« on: February 16, 2014, 06:20:27 AM »
The snow finally melted and the sun is supposed to shine.  The day is starting out above freezing for a long while.  Big T and I are heading for upper Bull Shoals which is the only open water around.  It will be several days before any of the other lake thaw out enough to get a boat in.  (One guy even posted a pic of ice fishermen out on Stockton Lake last week.)

We are chasing anything that bites.

It was a beautiful day with mostly sun.  The water in upper Bull was 42.  I fished spots for about 12 miles and wound up with a green fish and a spot.  Not much but better than a snow bank. ;D

Well, as soon as the water softens around the ramps I will be hitting the lake. So while I am waiting I will be getting my rear brakes fixed.
